Coach Tu organized a small "clinic" with 4 expats today — 90 min footwork drills + 30 min match play simulation. This is what Saigon has been missing for international players.

After today's session Coach Tan said "you're ready for tournament play." 38 years old, never played a competitive match. Time to face that fear. Sala Open in October?

Six months as a TopSpin client. Coach Tu rebuilt my serve from a 90 km/h liability into a 130 km/h weapon. Now I just need to put 50% in the box. Progress is non-linear.

Three months in Saigon, three months at TopSpin LAB. Coach Tu has rebuilt my forehand from scratch — old habits from 20 years of weekend tennis finally broken. Worth every dong.

Saturday Round Robin at Sala — 8 players, my first time hitting with locals at this level. Two of them play at 4.0+. Got destroyed but learned more in 2 hours than 10 sessions solo.

For other expats: Tan and Tu speak conversational English. Don't worry if your Vietnamese is zero. The coaching language is mostly tennis anyway — "split step," "hit through," "recover." Universal.
